The Durango is one of the cleanest and most powerful wood burning stoves on the market today. It offers an innovative design that results in hotter fires to produce maximum heat. The Durango Wood Stove features an air tight, reinforced plate steel construction capable of heating up to 1,800 square feet with a 73,790 BTU rating per hour, and a burn cycle of up to 12 hours. The high performance level of the Durango is achieved with Vogelzang's turbo burn technology. This technology delivers secondary air to the top of the firebox to virtually eliminate emissions and ensure more complete combustion with a series of cross-drilled re-burn tubes in the air tight firebox. The firebox is lined with firebrick and accommodates logs up to 26" in length. An adjustable 100 CFM high speed blower directs warm air from the firebox and into the room for added comfort. The Durango Wood Stove features a heavy duty cast iron gasketed feed door for front loading. It is secured and tightly sealed with a spring handle that locks in smoke, and remains cool to the touch while the stove is piping hot. Although the Durango Stove is built for heavy duty use, it is very flexible and serves many other functional purposes. A simple pot of water or steamer set on the top of the wood stove will humidify your home and just a splash of stove scents added to that water will fill your cabin with delightful aroma. Some assembly required.
