The Defender Wood Stove combines experience, expertise, and service to offer you a unit that operates for up to eight hours on a single load of wood. The Defender features an airtight, plate steel construction to consistently heat up to 1,200 square feet and maintains a 68,000 BTU rating. This attractive wood stove will enhance any hearth setting with a brilliant view of the burning fire through the air washed ceramic glass window. The Defender is trimmed with pewter accents to reflect the flames and add character to the charcoal black finish.
The Defender Wood Stove is lined with firebrick to ensure complete combustion. It includes an adjustable high speed blower that directs warm air from the firebox and into the room for added comfort. The firebox accommodates logs up to 18" in length. Logs are fed through the front loading cast iron door and secured with a cam lock door latch. The Defender is constructed with adjustable legs and operates with an efficient method that gets the most energy possible out of the wood that you are burning.
Although the Defender Stove is built for heavy-duty use, it is very flexible and serves many other functional purposes. A simple pot of water or steamer set on the top of the wood stove will humidify your home and just a splash of stove scents added to that water will fill your cabin with delightful aroma.
